the big room
our signature workshop
Our signature 2-hour long workshop combines energizing and accessible yoga movement with breathwork techniques and guided meditation. It is designed to address the whole person that you are — your body, your mind, your emotional and energetic bodies.
For so many of us, yoga is about developing the skills needed to avoid being dragged through life by our conditioned reactions, but instead to create a space, a room, to intentionally participate in our responses to all the challenges to our well-being that we face.
With ancient traditions and modern scientific discoveries, we have the tools to find coherence in our mind/body and to regulate our own nervous system.
It’s not enough to breathe.
You need to figure out how to enjoy it.

This workshop experience is suitable for everyone — all levels welcome.

The term "breathwork" can mean many things. The yogic practice of Pranayama is familiar to many people.
Now breathwork can mean any of many different intentional breathing patterns.
We practice these exercises for a number of reasons: nervous system regulation, athletic performance, neurological coherence, emotional release, personal transformation, all with emerging scientific backing and care and safety.

While ‘meditation’ has become a common phrase — knitting is my meditation — at its root, meditation is the practice of letting go of distraction, letting go of entertainment, letting go of achievement and reward and just being aware of your own luminous awareness.
It is a skill to practice. It is not something we can just do or not do. So with patience and persistence we can develop the skill of awareness.
Our guided meditations are meant to support you in that practice.
